Welcome to my site and to the wonderful world of Gourd Art!

Creating one-of-a-kind art pieces on the natural surface of a gourd has endless possibilities.

Gourds come in all shapes and sizes and can be carved, wood burned, woven with a multitude of fibers, painted and dyed. I often feel that each gourd that I design has a way of letting me know what they "want to be" and the evolution process that can sometimes be a "head scratcher" always delights me when a piece is completed.

People often ask me how long a piece takes to complete and there really is no other answer than "as long as it takes", and the gourd usually tells ME when it's finished.
